About Us
The LGS Family
Lahore Grammar School was established in Lahore in January 1979 by a group of women with a commitment to quality education and with the aim of providing a creative alternative to the existing educational facilities available in the country. The initial focus of LGS was the promotion of female education. However, it was soon realized that quality educational institutions were needed for young boys as well. This led to the opening of the boys’ branch in 1992. The LGS system now offers comprehensive education comprising both Matric/O and A Level to both boys and girls. The school has several branches in the city of Lahore as well as in Multan, Faisalabad, Gujranwala, Sialkot, Peshawar, Quetta, Karachi, Sargodha and Islamabad. Lahore Grammar School has also extended its school network to cater to the needs of middle and lower income families through its Landmark and Ilm Schools.

Our Mission
LGS Senior Girls, OPF aims to educate young women to be fearless thinkers with moral courage and compassion, to be agents of change in their own lives and the lives of others. With an in-depth knowledge of how girls learn best, our school is dedicated to creating a nurturing and enjoyable environment for girls to adopt an intelligent and critical mindset. As we look to the future, our school mission remains the foundation for our plans. We remain committed to creating a personalized learning environment for each student, so she develops a passion for learning, a strong assurance of her own worth, and the desire and values to contribute meaningfully to her local and global communities.
Our Journey

Our journey began in 2008 with classes 1-4 at our Junior Girls Branch located in Johar Town's G Block. We expanded to become a Middle School Campus with classes 6, 7 and 8 now located at 49 Civic Center Johar Town. This blossomed into the commencement of the O Level Programme initially at the same campus..
However, in 2017 a thirteen canal purpose built campus, with state of the art facilities, was constructed inside the Overseas Pakistan Foundation (OPF) Society, especially to house the Senior School girls for their O and A level journeys.
... And the exciting journey continues!
